Doors at 6pm and the performance will start at 7pm. Please arrive in good time as we cannot allow entry once the performance has began. The performance will include both handheld and stationary cameras, so guests may be filmed and recorded during the event.

Arrival is the latest collaboration between choreographer Kirill Burlov, composer J.C. Wright, and artist Anastasia Tribambuka, created in response to Tribambuka’s exhibition Palimpsest.

This live, site-specific performance unfolds within the gallery, weaving movement, sound, and projection into a dialogue with the works on display. Engaging with the show’s themes of absence and presence, erasure and return, it traces the shifting layers of memory, identity, and time.

In the context of Palimpsest, Arrival suggests not a destination, but a moment of emergence — something surfacing through accumulated histories and forgotten gestures. Accompanied by Wright’s immersive soundscape and Tribambuka’s video scenography, the piece reflects on what remains after meaning fades — and what insists on returning.
