Shielded Hearts is a project led by Sam Dawood and in collaboration with Lydia Reeves, transforming detailed body casts of trans-masculine people into sculptural, wearable works of art. With trans rights under threat and trans bodies increasingly suppressed, scrutinised and politicised, we look to assert and reclaim visibility.
